Operation Christmas Child is simple in premise: by providing a shoebox filled with both practical and playful gifts to a child in need, a doorway is opened for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be shared. Just as a gift given in love communicates to any one of us that we are loved and cared for, so does an Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoebox communicate to a child who may or may not know such love. Memorial Scholarship Fund

Applicants: If you are a student who will be enrolled in an undergraduate program in a college or university in the next academic year and would like to apply for a scholarship, pick up an application from the church office.

Hazel Shatswell Memorial Service

Our prayers of love and support are with the family of Hazel Shatswell. Hazel went home to be with the Lord on June 26. She was almost 96 years old and served her Lord faithfully for many years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Do you love to bake? If so, your delicious breakfast breads, muffins, and cookies would be so appreciated by the high school students participating in the upcoming mission trip in July. Please label your baked goods “HS Mission Trip” and drop them off at the Foyer Table on either Sunday, July 1 or 8.

South Sudan G.O. Team Update

The team has finished up work in Doro, South Sudan and are currently in Kenya. They soon begin the long journey home through multiple airports and so many time zones! The weather was VERY hot (often over 120 degrees F), but with perseverance, the team made it through. Please pray for the team's safe return. [UPDATE 6/27: The team made it home safely last night!]

School is over and summer is here! This year the High School Ministry at Glenwood is heading to Long Beach, Washington to enjoy a week of sun, sand, water, and hiking!

Join us for an adventure filled week of camping, swimming, hiking, boating and playing on the beach.

Student Ministries Parent Dinner

Come and enjoy dinner with other parents and youth leaders, hear about the student ministries at Glenwood, and strategize with other parents about ways to help your kids grow in their love for God and neighbor this year.

Judie Campbell Memorial Service

Our prayers of love and support are with the family of Judie Campbell. Judie went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 2. Judie loved and served the Lord faithfully for many years. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the Worship Center.

High School Mission Trip

On July 8th through 14th, we will be sending a group of high school students and staff for a week of outreach in Clackamas, OR. We will be partnering with Spring Mountain Bible Church to provide a Vacation Bible School for local kids and engage the community in various service projects.

Please pray that the community and children at the VBS would have open and receptive hearts. Pray that our students would learn more about God’s love for them and how to show that love to others.
