GriefShare Group

Sunday, November 26, 2017 to Sunday, February 25, 2018
Sundays, 12:30pm, Library

Grief is one of life's toughest journeys. Faith can and will heal, and time helps.

Time by itself does not take care of grief, but working through memories and facing the difficult pain together with others strengthens us to push through the grief.  Working through grief is like facing a strong wave on the beach and letting it wash over you. It feels like a monster wave sometimes, but it is healing.  This group is valuable for anyone who has lost a loved one in death.  The course is aimed at empowering people to successfully travel the painful path with God and with others.

There are 13 sessions starting with the questions of “why” and then help you move on from there. The support group begins with an opportunity for people to share their story of grief—though there’s no pressure to share. There are a lot of tears and we welcome that.

Our first session begins on Sunday, November 26, in the Library from 12:30 - 2:30 pm.  There is a one-time cost of $15.00 for the workbook that can be used if taking the class again. For questions, call the church office or Shirley Mozena: 360.292.3155—or email questions at  Please join us!

Due to the personal nature of this group, no sessions are recorded.
