Options 360 Pregnancy Clinics offer a positive alternative to abortion. They provide pregnancy testing, counseling, support, and biblical teaching, as well as practical help (clothes, supplies, etc.) for new mothers facing a pregnancy for which they are not prepared.  Options 360 is looking to restock their "Baby Boutique" (their supply of items given to new mothers).  They need the following items:

Our prayers of love and support are with the family of Michael Gamboa.  Michael went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 23, 2016.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. in the Worship Center.

In lieu of flowers, the Gamboa and Rogers families ask that donations be made to Merger Special Contributions fund with Glenwood Community Church.

This fall Glenwood is sending a global outreach team to resource our ministry partners in Haiti. The team will primarily be doing finish work on an academic building on the STEP campus that requires general construction or handyman skills. If you are interested in finding out more about this trip, please contact Shelly Kirgiss by phone (360-571-3300) or email. More information can also be found in the trip application below. You can also find a paper copy in the church foyer.

We are gathering information regarding graduates in our church family in order to honor them during a Sunday morning service in June.  Please complete the following information if you are graduating from high school, college, trade school, university or any other institution (or you know someone in our body who is) in the 2015-2016 school year.

On Saturday, April 30th, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., the course will be closed in preparation for the STM sale. A crew will be marking the area in preparation for striping parking spaces the first Saturday in May..

5 Day Clubs

Child Evangelism Fellowship, also known as CEF, is a Bible-centered, worldwide organization that is dedicated to seeing every child reached with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, discipled and established in a local church. The local director for our area is Tracy Halstead who is assisted by his wife, Leng. On Sunday, April 24, Tracy and others from CEF joined us to invite us to partner with CEF this summer by hosting a 5 Day Club at your home.

The disc golf course and grounds will be closed Wednesday, April 6th from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for spraying. If the weather should be non-conducive, spraying will take place Thursday or Friday at the projected times. Hunts

On March 26th Charles and Debbie Hunt are leading a team on a trip to the Middle East for 2 weeks.  The team will be teaching conversational English to students using morals-based topics.  They will also show morals-based short films to the students.  The goal is to open doors for spiritual conversations and sharing the gospel. 

The team will be in the Middle East until April 8th, so please hold them up in prayer.  Charles and Debbie shared these prayer requests:

This past Saturday (March 19th) a group of high school students and leaders had the prviliage of serving families at Prairie View Apartments. A joint venture between Glenwood Life Groups, Brush Prairie Baptist Church, and the Glenwood High School Ministry, our Easter Eggsplosion was all about showing God's love to children and parents in our community.

Easter!
He Is Risen!

On Easter Sunday, March 27, we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We invite you to join us for one of our Easter services at 8:00, 9:30 or 11:00am. The 8:00am service will not have Children's Classes available, Infant through 5th grade classes are available during the 9:30 and 11:00am services. Middle School, High School and Adult Equipping will be suspended on Easter morning so that they may join the Worship Service. The following Sunday, April 3, we will return to our current service times of 9:00 and 10:45am.
