Precept
6:30 pm, Room 305

Join us on Monday, January 30th at 6:30pm as Precept begins Isaiah (Part 2).

Isaiah is the crown jewel of Old Testament prophets, a book that strikes awe in the heart of its reader, especially when its poetry is read in Hebrew. Prophecies from Isaiah are mentioned in twenty-two places in the New Testament. The words of Isaiah were often found on the lips of the Christ, the Messiah prophesied in Isaiah. If Jesus, God incarnate, honored this grand and glorious book so highly, then you and I ought to do the same.

The Calling
7:00 pm, House

The Calling is Glenwood's post-high school gathering for ages 18-25. At this stage in our lives, we are launching into a new adventure as we begin our adult lives. We ask questions about life after high school, how we survive college, wisdom in seeking our first jobs, or simply who we are in this fast-paced, rapidly changing world. Henceforth, "The Calling" reveals how God speaks to us, leads us, and grows us as we walk with Him. The name suggests our heart posture: We are a community that listens to God and responds to where he leads us in serving His Kingdom.
