A.W. Tozer wisely said, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the important thing about us.” This year’s Fall Adult Equipping Class is going to look directly and deeply at God’s nature and character in Scripture. We must know God accurately to love God truly. Come learn to adore the God of glory and be changed. The class begins September 17th in Room 302 during the 9am worship hour.

The Calling is Glenwood's post-high school gathering for ages 18-25. At this stage in our lives, we are launching into a new adventure as we begin our adult lives. We ask questions about life after high school, how we survive college, wisdom in seeking our first jobs, or simply who we are in this fast-paced, rapidly changing world. Henceforth, "The Calling" reveals how God speaks to us, leads us, and grows us as we walk with Him. The name suggests our heart posture: We are a community that listens to God and responds to where he leads us in serving His Kingdom.
Wednesday, October 4
Both High School and Middle School ministries will be meeting at GCC from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (doors will open at 6:15pm). In order to ensure safety, High School and Middle School will be together for games and teaching and split for small groups.

Operation Christmas Child is an annual ministry in which Glenwood Community Church has participated for many years. As a ministry of Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child is simple in premise: by providing a shoebox filled with both practical and playful gifts to a child in need, a doorway is opened for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be shared. Just as a gift given in love communicates to any one of us that we are loved and cared for, so does an Operation Christmas Child shoebox communicate to a child who may or may not know such love.
