First Things First
6:00 am, Library

Each Friday morning from 6:00-7:00 a.m., Senior Pastor Paul A. Jackson hosts a men's Bible Study and prayer time in the church library. After an inductive study of the passage to be preached the coming Sunday, we then pray in small groups for the balance of the hour.  Feel free to leave for work, if necessary, any time during the hour.

Middle School Go Event
7:00 pm, Whole Building

GO Neon! is a large-scale game that is a mix between hide and seek, capture the flag, and tag, all themed around Neon!

The Return and Rule of Jesus Christ

A new Adult Equipping class that will focus on “The Return and Rule of Jesus Christ.” It will be led by Wayne Cochran at 9:00am in room 302.

The smartphone has become a primary tool in our technology-filled society. With its increased use and benefits come many questions: How do we utilize our phones without allowing them to interfere with our relationships? What are potential dangers of smartphones? How can we guard against those dangers? Join us as we continue our series on technology and dive into these and many more questions related to smartphones. Refreshments provided along with time to visit with other parents. Next Sunday at 10:30 in room 305.

This winter, Precept will be studying 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles.  Watch a "man after God's own heart" ascend to the throne, then descend into sin. See how a covenant-keeping God turns a man from the worst sins to a victorious finish.

This study begins on January 14th at 6:30pm.  

Online sign-ups will be available in mid-December or sign-up in the Foyer on January 6th. The cost of the study is $20.

Something in us aches for more, and our culture offers us many suggestions.  A bigger house, a better friend, more stuff -- then we could be content.  But there is good news!  The Bible tells us that we can learn to be content.

The High School and Middle School Ministries meet regularly on Wednesday nights during the school year at Glenwood Community Church to hang out, worship through music, pray, study God’s Word, and spend time together building relationships in small groups.

This is a great opportunity to make new friends and learn more about God through the Bible. Hope to see you there!

Ladies...Start your morning off with a cup of coffee and a chat with friends -- old and new!  

Choose three coffee shops from the list and we'll send you an email letting you know the name of the coffee shop and your companions.  The cost of this event is just your coffee.

Sign up in the Foyer on January 6th and 13th or online.
