Women's Bible Study

In Genesis 12-50 we see God as the Covenant Maker.

Walk through the stories of the fathers of our faith -- Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.  We discover how God is working everything together for His glory and for the good of His people.  Through these chapters in Genesis, we witness image bearers who sin and wrestle to maintain trust in the only One who will fulfill every promise, the One for whom nothing is too hard.

What is true faith? How should you live the Christian life? Each verse of this practical study is alive with instructions, admonition, and encouragement. Learn God's principles for dealing with trials, temptations, the tongue, and the pull of the world.

Online sign-ups will be available in mid-August or sign-up in the Foyer on August 25, September 1, and September 8.

The Calling

The calling is a group of 18-25-year old young adults who gather to worship and study from God's word on Tuesday Nights. Enjoy time with friends and others as we seek to become better apprentices to the way of Jesus.

Friday, October 18

First Things First
6:00 am, Library

Each Friday morning from 6:00-7:00 a.m., Senior Pastor Paul A. Jackson hosts a men's Bible Study and prayer time in the church library. After an inductive study of the passage to be preached the coming Sunday, we then pray in small groups for the balance of the hour.  Feel free to leave for work, if necessary, any time during the hour.

High School Fall Event
7:00 pm, The House

This is an event for High School Ministry. We will meet at the house, and then take the bus to our Corn Maze Event. The bus will bring us back to the house for more hang out time after. For more information, contact Brandon Dickson at bdickson@glenwoodcc.org

Join us for a six-week equipping class that will help you explore the foundations of your faith in Jesus and continue to grow as a follower. Topics will include how to understand and read the Bible, how we got the Bible, prayer, the church, and evangelism.

Join us for an after-church potluck! Bring a dish to share as you connect with folks from Glenwood. Newcomers: Be our guest! (no need to bring anything).
