Men's Ministry Update

We trust you are encouraged in Christ and finding comfort in His grace and His goodness.  We always have much to be thankful for, even during this time of difficulty and adjustment to our daily activities and lives.  God is in the business of turning difficult times into opportunities for us to love Him, love others, and influence others for Christ.  While our physical gathering together has been temporarily limited, in response to fighting the spread of Covid, God is busy opening new doors of connection for each of us to walk through. To that end, we want you to take advantage of a number of ways to engage others: your family, your neighbor, your small group, your ministry team, etc.  Be a source of encouragement to others, speaking the truth in love, demonstrate acts of kindness, and live out selfless service.  we invite you to join us as First Things First weekly Bible study meets every Friday morning by Zoom. If you'd like more info about how to be a part of First Things First, email acurtis@glenwoodcc.org

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace."  Numbers 6:24-26

Al for men's ministries

The focus of Men's Ministries is to challenge men to grow in their walk with God and become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through sound biblical teaching, living out God's Word, building relationships, evangelism opportunities, and fellowship.

Most of us would agree, 'life is busy!'  Therefore, we are intentional about our philosophy of ministry to men, in that we limit the number of "men-only" events during the year. We believe every man should attend to their personal walk with Christ, and live out out his God-given responsibilty to servant-lead his family well. To facillitate that, Men's Ministries offers our First Things First men's study every Friday morning, as well as a Men's LIFE Group meeting Saturday mornings in Battle Ground. And, whether you are single or married, joining a LIFE group is an important step in becoming better connected at Glenwood.

First Things First

The mainstay of Glenwood's Men's Ministries is First Things First. Each Friday morning from 6:00-7:00 a.m., Pastor Paul hosts a Bible study and prayer time in the church library. After an inductive study of the passage to be preached the coming Sunday, we pray in small groups for the balance of the hour. Feel free to leave for work, if necessary, any time during the hour.

As we reflect on King’s Kruz-In 2012, we are thankful and appreciative for the many participants, spectators, vendors,  staff, and volunteers who once again helped to make this a special day.  Each year we are privileged to enjoy the array of high-quality vehicles and their owners who graciously share their...
