The Calling

The Calling is Glenwood's post-high school gathering for ages 18-25. Every Tuesday, we meet up at the house on Glenwood's campus to worship through music, studying the scriptures, and prayer. Our ministry equips our young adults in being disciples in the way of Jesus: Apprentices who seek to become more like him and multiply in the making of other disciples. Our name, "The Calling," advocates the heart of our mission: We are people who not only listen to God but respond to him. As we journey through life together, we rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us in discovering where God is calling us in serving his kingdom. Follow us on social media @gccthecalling

In light of COVID-19, we would like to welcome you into our virtual experience for our Young Adult community.

What do I do on Sundays?

  • We encourage you to join us in participating with Glenwoods online content that will be posted on our main website page. Make Sundays a priority rhythm for worship even if we can't gather.

What do Tuesdays look like right now?

  • At 7:00 pm PST we're going to be linking up for The Calling over Zoom. The link and password will be emailed to you. Please reach out if you are not receiving these emails or would like to be included in the email list.

  • Over these meetings, we will continue to give updates, discuss a thought of the week in small groups, and pray for one another. Afterward, people are welcome to stay for further discussion or socialize.

  • To get access to the thought of the week, check out our podcast here! It's also available on Apple and Google Podcasts.

How can I stay connected?

  • If you have a group of friends at church, stay connected with them! Become pen pals or call them on the phone.

  • With the extra time, invest in a bible study or create a rhythm where you can form and practice spiritual disciplines. For resources, check out the link to our page below.

  • Erik will be putting out videos giving updates and encouragement on social media stories.

Let’s continue to pray that God will heal our world, that we might experience God’s control when it might feel like we’re not in control! Let’s pray for God to move through doctors, scientists, and our government in their leadership during this time.

We’ll see you online!
