Precept: Genesis Part 1 & 2
Part 1 - The Creation
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Do I believe this statement that God has revealed in His Book? What does this really mean, and how does it affect my daily life? When you immerse yourself in the Biblical account of Creation, you will be led to know your Creator in deeper ways, increasing your awe of Him. You will also gain insight into who you are in relationship to your Maker and will gain a more complete understanding of your own purpose and how to live.

The Calling is Glenwood's post-high school gathering for ages 18-25. At this stage in our lives, we are launching into a new adventure as we begin our adult lives. We ask questions about life after high school, how we survive college, wisdom in seeking our first jobs, or simply who we are in this fast-paced, rapidly changing world. Henceforth, "The Calling" reveals how God speaks to us, leads us, and grows us as we walk with Him. The name suggests our heart posture: We are a community that listens to God and responds to where he leads us in serving His Kingdom.
