OPPORTUNITIES

Fall Women's Bible Studies on Zoom

Register online for Women's Bible Studies on Zoom by clicking on the link below for the day you wish to attend.  We will be studying the book of Hebrews using Better by Jen Wilkin. From your home using Zoom, we will view the video teaching together and then, through the power of Zoom, break into smaller groups to discuss our lesson for that week. If you are not familiar with Zoom and need some help getting set up, please let us know, and we will do our best to get you up and running.

Rather than ordering books for everyone and trying to get them distributed, we are asking you to order your own book from the retailer of your choice (Lifeway, Christian Book, Amazon). If you need assistance obtaining a book or if you have any questions or need a scholarship, please contact Michelle Jensen at mjensen@glenwoodcc.org or 360-571-3300.

Monday, September 14 at 7:00 PM

FISH Food Pantry

FISH is located in downtown Vancouver and is focused on serving emergency food to hungry and homeless families and individuals of all ages. They have a number of volunteer opportunities right now and could use your help. To find out more, visit glenwoodcc.org/fish

Discipleship at Glenwood

God has designed the body of Christ to be a network of supportive, life-giving, and truth-affirming relationships. As followers of Christ, we are being both transformed and assisting in the transformation of others. This fall, we would love to help you get connected to discipleship opportunities at Glenwood. Visit Glenwoodcc.org/Discipleship to find out more about how you can get involved.

Operation Christmas Child

Back to school sales are starting now!  This is a good time to plan ahead and purchase school supplies for your Christmas Shoeboxes.  Samaritan's Purse has a list of recommended items at samaritanspurse.org or click on the attached links below for a list of items as well as dates to remember.

Refugee Ministry

Are you interested in helping local refugees improve their English over a Zoom call? If so, contact Craig Krupicka by email (cdkrupicka@gmail.com) or phone (360-892-5192) for more information on how you can get involved.

Prayer Chain

If you would like to join the prayer chain in order to pray for the needs of our church family, friends, the community, and our global ministry partners, please email Judy Tremblay at jtremblay@glenwoodcc.org with the email address(es) you would like to add.
