Opportunities
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through simple, gift-filled shoe boxes and the good news of God’s love through Jesus Christ. For shoebox gift suggestions, please visit www.samaritanspurse.org. The Greatest Gift (a small booklet) is offered when the boxes are handed out. The $10 for shipping is for collection, processing, shipping, and sometimes storage in the receiving countries. After the kids receive the boxes, they are given the opportunity to sign up for a 12-week Bible study, The Greatest Journey.
Harvest Carnival
Glenwood’s Harvest Carnival is Tuesday, October 31st, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Enjoy an evening of free carnival games and activities for everyone! Check the foyer for door-hanger invitations to distribute in your neighborhood; if you would like to be a part of the Harvest Carnival Team, click here.
First Things First
First Things First is a Men's Bible Study and prayer time led by Pastor Paul. The Bible study is a verse-by-verse inductive study of the upcoming Sunday sermon, followed by a time of prayer in small groups. First Things First meets every Friday from 6:00-7:00 a.m. in the Library. A Zoom option is available for those unable to meet in person. Contact Al Curtis for the Zoom Link.
Life Groups
LIFE Groups are where God's family acts like family. We want each person who joins a group to discover firsthand the joy, responsibility, and growth that occurs from being in an intentional community. The people in a LIFE Group are people just like you. Some groups are composed of couples, some a mixture of both singles and couples, and some a mixture of generations. LIFE Groups meet at various homes and times throughout the week. If you would like more information, please stop by the foyer table this morning.
