Paul & Nancy Jackson's Retirement Celebration - Sunday, March 10, 3:00 p.m.

After nearly four decades of faithful leadership, Paul and Nancy Jackson are retiring from ministry at Glenwood Community Church. From their early seminary days at the former Minnehaha Community Church, through the growth and building of our current facility here at Glenwood, Paul and Nancy have shepherded the hearts of this church family in countless kingdom-building ways for 38 years. Paul officially served in the senior pastor capacity for 36 years, and Nancy directed children’s ministries both as a volunteer and on staff for 30 years. Their steadfast devotion to walking alongside this congregation - intent on encouraging others to know, love, and follow Jesus - will be honored/celebrated at a service on March 10, at 3:00 p.m. followed by an hors d'oeuvres reception at Glenwood.

Palm Sunday Choir - Sunday, March 24

We would love you to participate in the Palm Sunday Choir this year. We will join the worship team during both services on Palm Sunday, March 24.  Rehearsals are March 10, and 23, at 10:30 a.m. Visit Glenwoodcc.org/Choir for more information and to sign up.

Vacation Bible Camp

Mark your calendar for this year’s Vacation Bible Camp on June 24-28, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., when we’ll head to SonHarvest County Fair to learn through Jesus' parables how to grow in the fruit of God’s Spirit!  It's sure to be a blue ribbon year!

Adult Equipping Class, Sunday Mornings at 9:00 a.m. in Room 302

The new Adult Equipping class, The Gospel According To The Prophets, will be led by Wayne Cochran and is a 10-week class taking us through what the Old Testament prophets said about Jesus.

Bible Reading Plans 2024

Start the new year with a daily habit of Bible reading. Bible Reading Plans are available for kids and adults at Glenwoodcc.org/Reading or in the foyer.

First Things First

First Things First is a Men's Bible Study and prayer time led by Pastor Paul. The Bible study is a verse-by-verse inductive study of the upcoming Sunday sermon, followed by a time of prayer in small groups. First Things First meets every Friday from 6:00-7:00 a.m. in the Library. A Zoom option is available for those unable to meet in person. Contact Al Curtis for the Zoom Link.

Life Groups

LIFE Groups are where God's family acts like family. We want each person who joins a group to discover firsthand the joy, responsibility, and growth that occurs from being in an intentional community. The people in a LIFE Group are people just like you. Some groups are composed of couples, some a mixture of both singles and couples and some a mixture of generations. LIFE Groups meet at various homes and times throughout the week. If you would like more information, please stop by the foyer table this morning.
