Opportunities

Women's Ministries

Women's Summer Fellowship  ~ Ladies, please join us on August 20th as we gather to hear what God is doing in the lives of women at Glenwood, catch up with friends, and pray together. We'll meet from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Sign up here.

Women's Summer Book Club ~ This year, we are reading Everyday Faithfulness by Glenna Marshall. It's a great book that helps us have a long view of faithfulness, keeps us rooted in scripture, and provides some practical habits we can incorporate into our daily lives. For more information or to sign up, visit the Women's Summer Book Club

King's Kruz-In

King's Kruz-In - Saturday, August 3, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The twenty-first annual King's Kruz-In is coming! We are excited to invite classic car enthusiasts and spectators from around the county, with over 300 of Portland's and Clark County's finest rods and customs on display, live bluegrass music, BBQ lunch, and a snack bar. Kids are welcome! The best time for spectators to attend the car show is anytime between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Children's Ministries

Sunday Summer Camp: August 4th - September 8th.  For five Sundays during our regular service hours, children will enjoy time in the great outdoors as we learn about 19th-century missionary Amy Carmichael. For more information or to join our Sunday Summer Camp team, visit glenwoodcc.org/SSC.

First Things First

First Things First is a men's Bible study and prayer time led by the person preaching each week. The Bible study is a verse-by-verse inductive study of the upcoming Sunday sermon, followed by a time of prayer in small groups. First Things First meets every Friday from 6:00-7:00 a.m. in the Library. A  Zoom option is available for those unable to meet in person. Contact Al Curtis for the Zoom Link.

Church Family Prayer - Sunday, August 18, 8:00 a.m.

We want to gather in prayer each month as a church family to seek the Lord's direction and wisdom. We'll meet upstairs in Room 305 from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m.

Life Groups

LIFE Groups are where God's family acts like family. We want each person who joins a group to discover firsthand the joy, responsibility, and growth that occurs from being in an intentional community. The people in a LIFE Group are people just like you. Some groups are composed of couples, some a mixture of both singles and couples and some a mixture of generations. LIFE Groups meet at various homes and times throughout the week. Please stop by the foyer table this morning if you want more information.
