THINK! Seminar

COVID 19 has challenged the mental and emotional bandwidth of the culture and Church.  In a time with such division and varying opinions, it’s easy to join cultural outrage or to bury one’s head in the sand.  THINK seminars are designed to help the church think well and live faithfully.  For the Christian, this means understanding how Scripture and theology intersect with our daily life so that we can be a redemptive influence on others.  THINK will take place on Sunday, November 15 from 6:00-7:15 pm.

Register to attend THINK! in person or online here.

In-person attendees will follow Sunday morning protocols. Online attendees will receive a youtube link before the seminar.

Hats & Gloves

Join us Saturday, November 21, as we meet at Glenwood at 10 a.m. to gather hats and gloves and drive separately to FISH a food pantry in downtown Vancouver. This is a great opportunity to reach out to our local community.

There will be three opportunities to help:

  1. Packaging food in the FISH warehouse,
  2. Passing out food, hats and gloves to folks who drive up to FISH,
  3. Driving to areas around Vancouver to pass out hats, gloves and food packages, prepared by FISH.

For more information please email Brad Holten.

FISH Food Pantry

FISH is located in downtown Vancouver and is focused on serving emergency food to hungry and homeless families and individuals of all ages. They have a number of volunteer opportunities right now and could use your help. To find out more, visit glenwoodcc.org/fish

Discipleship at Glenwood

God has designed the body of Christ to be a network of supportive, life-giving, and truth-affirming relationships. As followers of Christ, we are being both transformed and assisting in the transformation of others. This fall, we would love to help you get connected to discipleship opportunities at Glenwood. Visit Glenwoodcc.org/Discipleship to find out more about how you can get involved.

Prayer Chain

If you would like to join the prayer chain in order to pray for the needs of our church family, friends, the community, and our global ministry partners, please email Judy Tremblay at jtremblay@glenwoodcc.org with the email address(es) you would like to add.
