This year the high school group is heading to Loomis Lake, WA, to enjoy four days of sunshine, hiking, swimming, games, camping, and hanging out at the beach! You can count on coming away from this trip with new and renewed friendship with God challenged and strengthened.

At our annual meeting earlier this year, we shared that our leadership team had begun a search for a full-time Director of Worship. This past Sunday, May 5, we were delighted to announce that we have found someone who will be a great fit at Glenwood. His name is Ben Rico.

Our annual Calling Summer Retreat will be at the Deschuetes River State Recreation Area, Saturday, June 29 - Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019. This time will focus on disconnecting from everyday life in order to refresh and refocus in God's word and to connect more deeply with each other. The cost of the retreat is $120. On Easter Sunday we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! Easter Sunday Services will be held at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m.
Please note that Children’s Ministries classes will meet during the 9:30 & 11:00 a.m. hours. Middle School, High School, and Adult Equipping classes will not meet.
Beginning March 24, our new equipping class will be available during the second hour.
How to Develop a God-Centered Marriage, 10:45 am in Room 302 ~ At a time when there is so much confusion about marriage and singleness, it is essential that we develop a firm grasp on what God says about it. During this class we will take a practical look at how to glorify God in our marriages. Whether you are married, engaged, or single, this class will help you understand and pursue God’s will regarding this important relationship. Led by Gary Blevins and team.

Smartphones are the most influential gadget of our age, and they are everywhere. How do we utilize the benefits of this culture-shaping device while guarding against the dangers that it can bring? Join us as we continue our technology series with a second session talking about smartphones.
The Short Term Missions Sale is an annual event at Glenwood Community Church. It is a large yard/garage sale and all proceeds are used to allow Glenwood attendees (both youth and adults) experience on the mission field in a short-term capacity. Individuals and teams serve both here in the United States and around the globe. Items sold at the sale are donations from the community, usually from the Glenwood congregation. The sale is open to the public.

With its increased use and benefits come many questions: How do we utilize our phones without allowing them to interfere with our relationships? What are potential dangers of smartphones? How can we guard against those dangers?
