Pray for the persecuted church

The first and second Sundays in November are widely recognized as the International Days of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.  They serve as reminders of the 100+ million believers worldwide who face persecution for their faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  In over sixty countries, 300+ Christians are killed each month because they follow Jesus. Over 200 church buildings and Christian-owned properties are destroyed each month.

On Sunday, October 4th, the Quilters at Glenwood Community Church displayed clothing they made for Hatian children. In addition to sewing quilts for local ministries, they took some time to assemble over two hundred brightly colored dresses and pairs of shorts. A Glenwood Global Outreach team will take these donations to distribute in Merger in early 2016.

Baby bottles for Options 360

Options 360 Pregnancy Clinics offer a positive alternative to abortion. They provide pregnancy testing, counseling, support, and biblical teaching, as well as practical help (clothes, supplies, etc.) for new mothers facing a pregnancy for which they are not prepared.  We as a congregation have been filling baby bottles with spare change, and now it's time to return them!  Bring them back to the Ministry Information Table in the Foyer. Help change lives by supporting the work of Options 360!
