On Easter Sunday we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! Easter Sunday Services will be held at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m.

Please note that Children’s Ministries classes will meet during the 9:30 & 11:00 a.m. hours.  Middle School, High School, and Adult Equipping classes will not meet.

March 21, 2019

Beginning March 24, our new equipping class will be available during the second hour.

How to Develop a God-Centered Marriage, 10:45 am in Room 302 ~ At a time when there is so much confusion about marriage and singleness, it is essential that we develop a firm grasp on what God says about it. During this class we will take a practical look at how to glorify God in our marriages.  Whether you are married, engaged, or single, this class will help you understand and pursue God’s will regarding this important relationship. Led by Gary Blevins and team.

Choose three coffee shops from the list and we'll send you an email with the name of the coffee shop and your companions. The cost for this event is just your cup of coffee.

The Short Term Missions Sale is an annual event at Glenwood Community Church. It is a large yard/garage sale and all proceeds are used to allow Glenwood attendees (both youth and adults) experience on the mission field in a short-term capacity. Individuals and teams serve both here in the United States and around the globe. Items sold at the sale are donations from the community, usually from the Glenwood congregation. The sale is open to the public.

Annual Meeting

According to our church constitution, the nominating committee’s responsibility is to present church board nominees for Glenwood member vote at the Annual Meeting. Looking at 1 Timothy 3:1-13, a nominee should demonstrate spiritual maturity, manage his household well, manifest a servant’s heart, and endeavor to live his life above reproach.

Happy New Year!!

Whew! We cannot believe we are in full swing of 2019. With semester finals coming up this week, we are taking this weekend to rest, recoup, and re-align with the Spirit of Christ for wisdom and direction. We are so excited to dive right into second semester in only a week! Second semester brings new classes, TRACK season, and warmer days!

The Bible Project's Read Scripture Reading Plan is a plan that takes you through the Bible in one year. The plan also includes short animated videos produced by The Bible Project that help explain the weekly reading.
