COVID-19 MINISTRY UPDATE

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.  Hebrews 4:16

Hello Ladies of Glenwood,

As things are changing daily in our world, we can rest in a God who does not change.  When we are unsettled by the changes happening around us, and in our home, I am thankful that going to God in prayer and spending time in His Word is always the first, right step.

While we may not be able to gather in person, Women's Ministries wants to highlight a few ways that we can be in connection, both with each other and God's Word.

Womens Ministries Facebook Page

Starting soon, we will be posting scripture passages along with some questions to ponder.  Let's use this space as a place to encourage one another and point each other to the truths of scripture.  Make sure "Follow" us so you don't miss anything.

Glenwood's Website

We have set up a Staying Connected resource on the Women's Ministries page on Glenwood's website.  For those who are not on Facebook, this will be a way to access the scripture passages and questions we will be posting.

Teaching on Glenwood's Website

There are many great teachings from Adult Equipping classes, Women's Bible Study, and more on Glenwood's website.  Grab your Bible and follow along one of these classes.  Invite your family to join you -- or start an email conversation with a few friends to discuss it over a group email.

Sharing Prayer Requests

Glenwood recently invited people to share requests on their main Facebook page.  It is our privilege to pray for one another.

Social distancing can feel very isolating, so reach out!  If you attended The Lady Brunch, send an email to someone from your group.  Did you go to a Let's Have Coffee event?  Check in with the ladies you met there.  If you deleted your emails from these events, email mjensen@glenwoodcc.org and I will send them to you.  Phone someone that you know lives alone and check on how they are doing.

This is new to all of us -- we've never done anything like this before.  But God is still the same, so let's look to Him and the truth of God's Word as we navigate this ever-changing world together.

Blessings,

Michelle Jensen

Director of Women's Ministries
