God began calling Rob and Liz to Central and Eastern Europe in 2001, when they were at Multnomah Bible College. After six years of student ministry at Glenwood Community Church, God renewed His call to Central Europe. Rob and Liz moved to Hungary in April of 2012 as the first Josiah Venture missionaries in Hungary. They helped establish a team of young missionaries in the city of Veszprem. They later moved to the city of Gyor and worked to disciple and equip a wave of young people who can lead their country to Christ. In 2021 the Trenckmann's transitioned to Oxford, England where Rob's new position is Head of Operations of Newton House, Oxford. Rob and Liz have three children, Caleb, Lillian, and Alec.
