Women's Bible Study

Fall is just around the corner -- and that means Women's Bible Study is starting up.

Women’s Bible Study will look a little different, but what has remained the same is our commitment to be in the Word.  This is our opportunity to go deeper – in our study of scripture and in our relationships with one another.

Starting Monday, September 14th at 7:00pm, we will begin a ten week study of Hebrews using Better by Jen Wilkin.

In this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews, Jen Wilkin explores how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40). Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise. Explore familiar verses in context of the entire Bible, learning how to place your hope and faith in Christ alone.

From your home using Zoom, we will view the video teaching together and then, through the power of Zoom, break into smaller groups to discuss our lesson for that week and share prayer requests.  If you are not familiar with Zoom and need some help getting set up, please let us know and we will do our best to get you up and running.

Rather than ordering books for everyone and trying to get them distributed, we are asking you to order your own book from the retailer of your choice.  If you need assistance obtaining a book or if you need a scholarship, please contact Michelle Jensen..

Registration is available here and will only be online through Glenwood’s website.  This will ensure that you receive the Zoom login and password that will be needed to access the weekly study.

If you have any questions, please contact Michelle Jensen at mjensen@glenwoodcc.org or 360-571-3300.
