Women's Bible Study

Monday, February 18 -
7:00PM to 8:30PM
Worship Center

Something in us aches for more, and our culture offers us many suggestions.  A bigger house, a better friend, more stuff -- then we could be content.  But there is good news!  The Bible tells us that we can learn to be content.

During this study we will follow the story of the Israelites as they wandered through the wilderness. Though God led them out of slavery and provided for all their needs, they grumbled and chose to go their own way instead of following God's instructions. As we dig into their story, beginning in Exodus and quickly moving into Numbers, we will learn how to be content while still being authentic about the difficulties of life, accept short-term hardship in light of the greater good of God's ultimate deliverance, and change our perspective from a posture of fear to a posture of faith. Together we will learn real, lasting contentment as we discover more of our incredible God, the only One who can help us to experience the promised land of peace and contentment in the midst of life's joys and pains.

Leslie Combs will be teaching this seven week study, which begins on January 14th at 7:00pm.

Online sign-ups will be available in mid-December or sign-up in the Foyer on January 6th and 13th.  The cost of the study is $18.
