Summer is over and we're back in gear for Youth Group! Don't miss out on a chance to hang out with the Nymeyers, high school staff, and a small group of students at the upcoming Nights at the Nymeyer's. There are four different nights that high school students can sign up to come for dinner and games. See the links below for more details!
Glenwood's Discovery class is designed to help you discover if Glenwood is the place God would have you fellowship and become involved. The class is taught by the church leadership team. It will provide an in-depth look at our vision, purpose, and beliefs and will introduce you to the wide array of ministries offered.
The four week class is scheduled for the following Sunday mornings: October 23, 30, and November 6 and 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
The first night of Youth Group is just around the corner!
If you are a high school or middle school student who wants to hang out with people that love God and seek to develop meaningful realationships with others, then come out on Wednesday to see what we're all about!
The Merger Building Project was started to help fund permanent buildings for the school in Merger, Haiti. This project includes a building for storing food and cooking meals for the children, four buildings for classrooms, and a wall around the school grounds. More information is available on the Merger Building Project page. If you would like to contribute, please include a note with your check designating the Merger Building Project.
John and Kimberly Ross and their children are in the Vancouver area for a couple weeks. Look for them this Sunday! If you would like to get in touch with John and Kimberly during their stay here, please contact Allen Hutchison and he can provide you their contact information.
Be sure to come out to Youth Group on June 1 from 7:00-8:45pm at Glenwood Community Church for a night of fun with small groups. With what we've got planned, the night is sure to be a blast!
On March 19th, we had the single biggest STM sale drop-off in the event's history. Fantastic! This year's sale is shaping up to be quite a sight. If you've got more stuff you need to get rid of, don't forget that you've got two more drop-offs to choose from - April 16th and April 30th.
