Consider being part of the Children’s Ministry’s summer teams from August 9 - September 13. Serve indoors for Six Summer Sundays to work with infants - four year old children, or serve outdoors for Sunday Summer Camp to work with kindergarten - fifth grade students. The road construction on NE 119th Street will impact Glenwood Community Church in the upcoming weeks. Please plan for at least an additional 15 minutes of travel time. From Clark County's project website:
This project [to widen and improve NE 119th Street]... will replace the Curtin Creek culvert under NE 119th Street, about a half mile east of NE 72nd Avenue. This work will require closing NE 119th Street at Curtin Creek to through traffic.
The course is closed this week Monday through Friday morning, 7am to 1:30pm each day for our Vacation Bible Camp.
As Pastor Paul shared on Sunday, June 21, Glenwood is moving from three to two Sunday services beginning July 5th in order to consolidate and strengthen ministry resources. The new service times are 9:00 and 10:45am. During this shift, the church leadership will evaluate service time options for the fall and beyond.
