The Parenting class has ended, but the Judges class has two more Sundays to go. If you've missed any of the audio or notes for the Judges class, check out the Adult Equipping Class page.
John and Kimberly Ross were recently in town and shared with us about their ministry in Southeast Asia with Wycliffe. We recorded the audio of their presentation, but will not be posting it on the website due to the sensitive nature of some of the work they are doing. If you would like to hear the audio from their time here, please contact Allen Hutchison and he can provide you with a CD or a secure way to download the mp3.
John and Kimberly Ross will be in town beginning Wednesday, Nov 16 through this Sunday, Nov 20. They will be sharing third hour in Room 305 in place of the Judges class. So come up at 11:00am and here wonderful stories of God's faithfulness in southeast Asia.
If you would like to meet with John and Kimberly and learn more about them and their work in Thailan, please contact Allen Hutchison. He can provide you with their phone number.
We wanted to update you on several things we learned on the Haiti GO Team’s recent trip to Merger.

From a note posted on Facebook this morning, Ken has arrived in Africa safely.
Arrived in Nairobi last night. It was a good flight, no issues. On the flight down from Amsterdam we had the Prime Minister of Kenya and his daughter on the plane with us. The plane was a 747, so they were in first class upstairs. Feeling ok after a good night sleep.
The first class for those interested in being baptized at our upcoming Celebration and Thanksgiving Service is this Sunday morning, Oct 30th, at 9:30am in the Library (Room 313). For those who are newer and might not know where the library is, check out the church map located on the What to Expect page.
Lauren Young in Haiti has posted a wonderful recap of the GO Team's time in Haiti. She has some great pictures as well. Check it out here!
Thank you for praying for Marykate Hughes! Marykate’s doctors in Houston do not believe the cancer has returned and have cancelled the scheduled biopsy. They want her to come back to Houston in three months for a return appointment. Praise the Lord for this great news.
We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings from 8:30 until 9:00 in the Library as we pray for the services, our leaders (both in the church and in our nation) and a number of other requests.
Join in on a night of “fall-ish” fun on Saturday, October 29. Arrive at 6pm at the House at church to catch a ride on the church bus to an “a-maze-ing” field of corn. Plan to enjoy some tasty fall food and drinks following fun in the field with friends.
Be sure to bring $5 and a signed permission slip!
The fun ends at 9:30pm so that we don’t have too many pumpkins on our hands.
*Note that the date for this event has been changed from October 28th due to a scheduling conflict. Thanks for your flexibility!
The Haiti GO Team leaves this Friday, Oct 7. As they’re able, they’ll be posting updates on the GO Team page of the church website. We’ll have a link to that on the front page of the website (check the rotating graphics) so it’s easy for everyone to get the team’s updates while they’re away.
