Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through simple, gift-filled shoe boxes and the good news of God’s love through Jesus Christ.
Boxes will be made available in the foyer on Sundays, October 18th and 25th. Packed boxes will be collected on Sundays, November 1st, 8th and 15th.You can find out more at glenwoodcc.org/occ and by watching this video:

Promotion Sunday is when your 2 year old — 5th grader is promoted to his new classroom.
We’ve got lots going on for high school students this fall! Below is a list of some great opportunities for students to connect with each other, grow in their faith, and serve others. The Disc Golf Course will close during the next two Sundays in September, the 6th and the 13th, starting at 7 a.m. The course will reopen those days around 1:00 p.m.
Options 360 Pregnancy Clinics offer a positive alternative to abortion. They provide pregnancy testing, counseling, support, and biblical teaching, as well as practical help (clothes, supplies, etc.) for new mothers facing a pregnancy for which they are not prepared. We as a congregation have been filling baby bottles with spare change, and now it's time to return them! Bring them back to the Ministry Information Table in the Foyer. Help change lives by supporting the work of Options 360!
Good news from the county! NE 119th Street is now open every day of the week! We can return to normal entrance into and exit from the Glenwood campus including on Sundays.
After a five-week closure to replace the Curtin Creek culvert, NE 119th Street is scheduled to reopen to through traffic by early afternoon on Monday, Aug. 10.
A short section of NE 119th Street, about a half mile east of NE 72nd Avenue, was closed for the culvert work.
Our Adult Equipping ministry resources people for life and service to Jesus Christ using the Word of God as the primary resource. Whether through reading materials, videos, or compelling teaching, our goal is to assist the Church’s conformity to the likeness of God’s Son. Consider being part of the Children’s Ministry’s summer teams from August 9 - September 13. Serve indoors for Six Summer Sundays to work with infants - four year old children, or serve outdoors for Sunday Summer Camp to work with kindergarten - fifth grade students. Monday, July 27th to Friday, July 31st. (Fluctuating times) - KING'S KRUZ IN PREPARATION
During this week, we will be utilizing the course to set up for our annual King's Kruz In event. The course will not be closed all the time, but on certain days we may close it temporarily while painting parking lines on the lawn as well as other activities in preparation for the event.
Our Global Outreach partners in Israel will be sharing about their life and work in Israel on Sunday, July 12 in the Library during the 10:45 a.m. (second hour) service.
