Rob & Nancy Congdon

South Sudan

Dr. Rob and Nancy are medical missionaries who have provided much needed health care in and around South Sudan. Their ministry has included leadership, medical care, education, evangelism & discipleship, and village health initiatives. After many years of faithful service with SIM, they worked with Samaritan's Purse for a time.  Now back with SIM, they continue serving in a global capacity: mentoring, shepherding and strategizing with medical missionaries serving throughout the world.  The Congdons have called Africa ‘home’ since 1986. They have six sons.

Though not supported out of our regular budget, the Congdons have many ties to Glenwood through individuals and special projects. In 2007 and 2009, GO teams traveled to Sudan to help in the reconstruction of a medical clinic in Doro.
